ADDLife! World Announces:
April 2009 marks the anniversary of the first India-Africa Summitin Delhi held last year.
At the breakthrough event, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh declared the 21st century the rising era of India and Africa and called for accelerated trade, while encouraging unified relations at every level of society.
ADDLife! World shares the vision of state leaders who see an economic advantage in reaching across oceans and promoting a long-needed network of solutions between developing nations.
That's why we're launching -- "Black dance in Asia" --which is a movement to produce institutions of live exchange where unlikely people can chart a bold future.
ADDLife! believes dance is a rhythmic system of stories, history, and invention -- and a tested way of turning barriers to change into spirited action. Dance must be a focal of any new economy concerned with harboring a pursuit of individual excellence, community, diversity and social connectivity.
***This month's We are Dance" -- a short-essay competition will reward smart thinking about the role of dance in 21st century modern worlds and help fund "Black dance in Asia."
